There is no subway in central Edinburgh but there is an excellent public bus service run by Lothian Buses. Maroon Lothian Buses on routes numbered
2,  23,  27,  35, 37, 41, 42,  45 and  67  

stop near Bobby's Sandwich Bar.

And when you get here, sit out at our marble-topped tables and watch the passing scene at this junction of five​ historic streets: Forrest Road, Bristo Place, Chambers Street, Candlemaker Row and George IV Bridge.

We've noticed that our window seats have become a popular spot for visitors to do "selfies".
